At this time you can't make EvilLyrics transparent using EL user interface. But you can use any of the free utilities that allow to make any application window transparent.
We recommend free utility called PowerMenu (51 kb).
It adds right click menu to all of your windows where you can set transparency, topmost mode and process priority
