| Question: | What is type-ahead? | | Answer: | Evillyrics lyrics pane works in two modes.
Default one is editing mode - if you try to type into lyrics pane, text is being edited.
However, if you lock you lyrics (see little lock icon in the upper toolbar), EvilLyrics works in "type-ahead" mode.
You can instantly search in currently displayed lyrics using type-ahead. If you click on lyrics pane and start typing a word, it is highlighted in the lyrics. If word can't be found lyrics pane flashes with red. You can then "reset" search by pressing ESC and start typing new word again.
You can move to next/previous occurrence of the word by right/left arrow.
This can be used for quick location of place in the lyrics by the word/phrase you've just heard. | | last updated 03.10.2007 | |
